WideOrbit Hires former Partnership Head of Facebook’s Atlas Ad Platform

Geoff Coco to Play Key Product Management Role in WideOrbit’s Programmatic TV Business

SAN FRANCISCO and SEATTLE, December 19, 2014 — WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, announced that it has hired one of the key players who drove the growth of Atlas, the #2 digital campaign management platform for agencies. Geoff Coco, formerly Head of Partnerships for Atlas’s ad serving and measurement business, joins WideOrbit as its Director of Product Management and lead the company’s programmatic broadcast initiative.

For nearly a decade at Atlas, Geoff negotiated, fostered and led partnerships with many of the largest companies in the advertising technology industry, including Marin Software, Innovid, Adobe, Medialets, and many others. Before Atlas, Coco teamed with fellow video industry leaders to launch the IAB’s Video Ad Serving Template (VAST), the first agency-side ad server for digital video, which has become the primary industry standard underpinning over $5 billion in digital video ad delivery. He is a past co-Chair of the IAB’s Digital Video Committee.
