WideOrbit Appoints Sales, Operations and Product Leadership

SAN FRANCISCO, January 27, 2016 — WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, today announced the promotion of three executives to key leadership positions. Joining the executive team, Mark Moeder has been named Chief Operating Officer; Susie Hedrick has been named SVP, Sales, North America; and Don Durand has been promoted to the new role of SVP, Sales International.

As Chief Operating Officer, Moeder will oversee all of WideOrbit’s client-facing operations, including installation, training, support, release management, and documentation. Moeder has more than 20 years of traditional radio, automation and radio traffic software experience. He was previously senior vice president, Radio, where he was responsible for WideOrbit’s WO Media Sales, WO Traffic, and WO Automation for Radio solutions. Prior to WideOrbit’s 2009 acquisition of Google Radio Automation, Moeder managed Google’s radio operations and technical team. He was previously at Wicks Broadcast Solutions (now Marketron), where he had oversight of its Visual Traffic product.

Moeder succeeds Nathan Gans, who becomes WideOrbit’s Chief Administrative Officer. In this newly created position, Gans will initially focus on the ad operations function of WideOrbit’s rapidly growing programmatic linear TV business.

As SVP, Sales, North America, Hedrick becomes WideOrbit’s highest-ranking sales officer and will lead revenue generation for WideOrbit’s radio, broadcast television, and programmatic solutions. From 2014, Hedrick was WideOrbit’s vice president, Radio Sales and was previously senior vice president, Sales and Business Development at Marketron, where she was also responsible for leading the company’s corporate partner strategy. Hedrick is a board member of the Alliance for Women in Media.

Don Durand moves to the newly created role of SVP, Sales, International. In addition to leading international business development, Durand will continue to manage WO Program, WideOrbit’s programming management solution. Durand has more than 20 years of ad sales, traffic and program management software experience in the media industry. Prior to WideOrbit, he was director, Business Development at Pilat Media where he was responsible for managing the global pre-sales team, market and business analysis.
