A+E streamlines sales and traffic operations of ten national cable television networks as WideOrbit surpasses milestone
SAN FRANCISCO, April 25, 2018— After a two-year discovery and implementation, A+E Networks has launched WideOrbit’s WO Network as the traffic and ad sales platform for its ten cable networks, including A&E®, Lifetime®, History®, Lifetime Movies®, FYI™, and VICELAND™.
With A+E’s switch to WO Network, WideOrbit now has more than 100 cable network properties live on its sales and traffic platform – the largest number of networks disclosed by any media business software company.
A+E’s selection of WideOrbit, the technology platform for media companies to connect audiences and ads everywhere, comes in part as a response to the changing media landscape. By streamlining its ad sales & traffic operations, invoicing and databases on the WO Network platform, A+E will be on a solid foundation to grow and better adjust to the needs of clients.
“WO Network was the clear choice because it provides a solid product foundation that can evolve with our business,” said Ishit Vachhrajani, Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at A+E Networks. “WideOrbit’s team exhibited the ability to get things done and stay flexible during the implementation process, which is what we’re looking for in a partnership.”
