More than ever, radio stations today are challenged to provide the best experience for their audience while keeping costs tightly under control. The most efficient method for remote talent to create content is for the talent to connect directly to the station’s automation system. AFR Web is a solution that allows broadcasters to quickly and economically onboard remote voice tracking talent without an installed client app. The remote talent can access the station’s radio automation system directly from the browser already installed on their own computer. Because the remote talent is using their own computer, the broadcaster is freed from the expensive requirement of providing each remote talent with a station-owned computer. AFR Web also uses HTTPS and an innovative Mobile Gateway to protect the automation system from any viruses, malware, or other security problems on the remote talent’s computer. 

After navigating to AFR Web in their browser, the remote talent can record voice tracks very close to airtime. Voice Tracks can be segued and re-recorded as required, to ensure your station provides the relevant and entertaining content your listeners and advertisers want. AFR Web also makes it easy to safely disconnect a user’s access when necessary.
