WideOrbit Appoints Mike Zinsmeister as EVP, Chief Revenue Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 19, 2017 — WideOrbit Inc., the media platform for connecting ads and audiences everywhere, announced that Mike Zinsmeister has returned to the company in the newly created role of executive vice president, chief revenue officer. Reporting to WideOrbit president Bruce Roberts, Mr. Zinsmeister will lead the company’s worldwide sales operations and collaborate with the executive team on product and business strategy.

This is Mr. Zinsmeister’s second tenure at WideOrbit. From 2004 to 2015, he served in a succession of roles including as its executive vice president, sales. During this period, WideOrbit’s total revenue grew from less than $5 million to more than $100 million, its sales team expanded from a start-up operation to more than 75 people, WideOrbit’s market share of broadcast TV station traffic systems grew to nearly 70%, and the company grew considerable share in the markets for cable network, radio and digital advertising business management systems.
