WideOrbit Appoints Bill Carey as VP, Finance

Tech Industry veteran to govern worldwide accounting and finance operations

SAN FRANCISCO, January 22, 2016 WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, has appointed Bill Carey as Vice President, Finance. Mr. Carey will be responsible for leading WideOrbit’s worldwide accounting and finance operations, and will have oversight of teams based in the United States and Europe.

Mr. Carey brings a wealth of experience in the financial stewardship of large companies and accounting issues faced by software companies. He joins WideOrbit from Rimini Street, where as VP Finance & Corporate Controller he was responsible for building a public company infrastructure and scaling global accounting and financial operations. Previously Mr. Carey was VP & Corporate Controller at Serena Software and held various senior finance roles at Juniper Networks including corporate financial planning and analysis; global accounting and reporting; and internal audit. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche, where he provided consulting services for companies in the United States, South America, and Eastern Europe. Mr. Carey holds a BA in Accounting from North Carolina State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
