WideOrbit Introduces WO Automation for Radio 2.0 featuring Leader and Follower Plus Seamless Integration with WO Traffic

Integrated Automation and Traffic Solution Delivers End-to-End Control to WideOrbit Radio Clients

Las Vegas, April 12, 2010 (NAB Show, Booth N5129) – WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of business
management software for media companies today announced the release of WO Automation for Radio
2.0, the latest version of its leading Radio Automation solution, featuring patent pending Leader and
Follower functionality and seamless integration with WO Traffic for an unequaled, end-to-end radio
solution.

WO Automation for Radio, formerly Google Radio Automation, is the industry’s most modern and
powerful Radio Automation system. With the new 2.0 release, WO Automation for Radio now has Leader
and Follower functionality which allows two or more radio stations to share common programming like
music, but break apart for independent commercial breaks or longer segments. All stations can be run
from one computer, separate computers or computers in different time zones delivering flexibility and
scalability for broadcasters running multiple stations from a single location. Leader and Follower also
simplifies and automates the programming of different commercials on terrestrial and web streams so
there is no need for additional costly software or services.

“Leader and Follower functionality in WO Automation for Radio 2.0 will simplify life for customers that
simulcast on multiple frequencies or platforms by streamlining setup and automatically making sure that
the commercial breaks on all channels are exactly the same duration,” said William “Dub” Irvin, Director of
Product Management for Radio Automation. “It will reduce the cost of hardware while creating a better
on-air product.”

WO Automation for Radio 2.0 also brings new efficiencies to Radio through seamless integration with WO
Traffic
, WideOrbit’s leading sales, traffic and billing system. This integration delivers several significant
benefits that no other automation vendor in North America offers:
  • Live log editing from Traffic: enables traffic managers to make same-day log changes directly from the traffic system, eliminating the need to re-merge the day’s log or restart the on-air system to receive the log updates
  • Real-time, automatic spot reconciliation: prevents lost revenue and compliance issues by automatically reconciling spots once they broadcast or fail to broadcast
  • Live Copy widget: automatically displays Live Commercial scripts on the DJ’s screen and upon confirmation, automatically reconciles the spot in traffic
  • Dub List widget: automatically copies commercial information such as advertiser name and run dates from traffic to automation, eliminating paper-based production orders
  • Automatic updates: synchronizes run dates between traffic and automation
  • Purge list: allows traffic to automatically delete outdated commercials in automation

“This exclusive integration of WO Automation for Radio and WO Traffic will provide our clients with
unprecedented control of their stations and deliver tremendous time-saving and cost-saving benefits,”
said Eric R. Mathewson, Founder and CEO of WideOrbit. “The sophisticated synchronized and
automated processes between the systems will vastly improve operational efficiencies for our clients—
and make their jobs much easier.”

During the 2010 National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas, live demonstrations of WO
Automation for Radio
2.0 can be seen at the WideOrbit booth N5129 in the North Hall. For more
