(San Francisco, CA August 14, 2006) – WideOrbit Inc. is pleased to announce that its industry leading Research, Proposer, Sales, Traffic and Billing software solution has been installed in more than 500 television stations, radio stations and cable networks. Four years ago, WO Traffic was installed in seven Television stations. Today, there are now more than 500 stations and cable networks relying upon WideOrbit’s WO Traffic as their trusted and secure backbone advertising infrastructure system. WideOrbit has more television stations installed using the WO Traffic software platform than any traffic software competitor in the US or North America. More than 90 broadcast groups have selected WideOrbit for all or a portion of their stations or networks. “It took WideOrbit 37 months to grow from 1 station to 100 stations, and just 5 months to grow from 400 stations to more than 500.
