WideOrbit is looking for dynamic C# Developers who can come in and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment! WideOrbit is the leader in business management software for Media companies, providing innovative, proven solutions for managing broadcast and cable operations. This is not just your average everyday C# job - we are developing a brand new product line. Every developer is a critical part of the design and implementation. This is Industrial Strength Programming – performance critical application development with a 3-tier, high-availability, high-volume, distributed architecture.

You'll be responsible for building everything from proof-of-concepts and usability prototypes to deployment-quality code. You should be comfortable with daily code submissions, delivering projects in short time frames, multi-tasking, handling interrupts, and interacting with a distributed team.



Required Skills AND EXPERIENCE:

  • C#, 4+ years required (.Net 2.0 minimum)
  • SQL, 3+ years required
  • WCF and Silverlight experience a plus
  • MS SQL Server Transact-SQL programming
  • Experience with various third-party components (e.g. DevExpress, Telerik)
  • Experience writing code for multi-threaded environments; both client UI and server framework
  • Experience writing and optimizing SQL, for MSSQL Server, requiring a high degree of scalability and concurrency
  • Strong OO design skills; knowledge of the CLR and FCL
  • Good algorithmic skills and experience applying design patterns to both new and existing code
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to thoroughly unit test and debug complex code that you, or others, may write.
  • Experience with other programming tools, languages and protocols a plus
