Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for Lead C++ Software Engineer. WideOrbit is the leader in business management software for Media companies, providing innovative, proven solutions for managing broadcast and cable operations. WideOrbit is financially a very stable organization with more than $100 million in existing no-cancel contracts over the next 5 years.
Required Skills AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3 or more years C++ development, high-level OO design experience and expertise
- Experience accessing OLEDB and ADO via C++
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server development (Stored Procs/Functions/T-SQL/.Net)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
DESIRABLE Skills AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience and knowledge of mission critical 24x7 environments
- Multi-threaded software design and development
