WideOrbit is currently looking for a Broadcast Research Analyst in our San Francisco office that has expertise in research to work on our WO Sales product. WO Sales is advertising sales management software that makes sales operations of broadcast companies smarter - from forecasting, to account management, to proposal, to post-buy analysis. As a Broadcast Research Analyst, you will act as a primary liaison between clients and WideOrbit developers to create and maintain research and reporting tools in the WideOrbit Applications. You'll combine quantitative skills with business acumen to work with our development team on requirements and documentation as well as fielding questions from internal and external customers. You will be a bridge between the development and product teams so testing the functionality of the system will be a major part of this position.
Skills/Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in media research for a television station in a top 10 broadcast market.
- Deep knowledge of research tools.
- Experience setting up research policies.
- Strong communication skills. We'll need you to translate in between our developers and our clients.
- Must be self-motivated and driven to work independently.
- Experience with Nielsen or Arbitron research data is a MUST.
- Knowledge of One Domain or Marketron is a plus
- Proficient understanding of how data is used within a broadcast organization.
Compensation
The compensation range is $75k-$90k plus medical benefits and stock options.
