I am currently using RRR to send music and commercials from one station to another. I would like to start using RRR to also send TOC files and CPY files. Can I just add these categories to my existing send tasks?
Probably not. Your existing Send task is most likely using Dispatch with a virtual alias as the Listener type. This type can only be used for files that can be uploaded through the Dispatch such as music and commercials. Non audio files such as TOC and CPY files can only be sent using the Passive Listener method. It is not possible to mix Dispatch and Passive Listener events on the same Send task. These non-audio files need to be set up with a passive Listener using a monitor path. Anytime a file is updated or a new file created into the monitor path, RRR will upload that file.
