Once MinvSrv has created a QStart##.DAT file, any changes to information in the music database will not be seen unless you take MinvSrv down, delete the QStart##.dat file and restart MinvSrv. For example: 1) Add a new Music cart to Maestro. 2) Add that cart to the music scheduler - but put in an intro time of 20 seconds. 3) Export the music DAT file so MinvSrv sees the change and updates the Music Record for that cart. 4) Play the cart back and note the intro time of 20 seconds. 5) Edit the record for that cart in the music scheduler to change the intro time to 10 seconds. 6) Re-export the music DAT file. 7) Watch MinvSrv window for the "Music Record changing for..." for that cart number. 8) Play the cart back and the intro time still shows 20 seconds. The only way to get updated information for the music database is to exit MinvSrv and delete the QStart##.DAT file. Found in 3.3.4 and 3.3.5.
