When the network is down you can manually get logs to DCS/Maestro. First, find the working directory (found in Configuration). Second, determine what the log file extension is. With the log on floppy, go to a DOS prompt and type in the following: Copy A:\*.log C:\DCS (if this is the working log path). Another possible working directory is C:\Logs. If using a portable drive (such as a "thumb" drive), determine the drive's letter and replace A:\ with the correct drive letter. To determine if the log has been successfully copied into the desired directory, go to that directory's DOS prompt (cd\DCS or cd\Logs) and type in DIR *.log.
