Log File is present, but not visible in Maestro
(note: the .log file Maestro reads for it's schedule can be viewed in notepad, however, edits should only be made in either Generic Log Editor (CMED) or Composer, due to line structure). The Maestro log file has a specific structure that attaches carts/elements to the same time as Directives/LogNotes. By having a directive at midnight (0000), carts underneath that directive would indicate the time of the directive, then position under. Example: D0001LR0100 LOAD :02 BREAK 0060 C0001:01WX01MIX AM WEATHER 0030 CM C0001:02PR09BOB & MARY PROM0 0030 CM D0046LS0300 LOAD :50 BREAK 301 C0046:010003GOOD FEET 0060 CM C0046:020097NEOGENESIS (NaturesPath) 0061 CM C0046:030120WOODCRAFT 0060 CM C0046:04**** 0000 C0046:05**** 0000 C0046:06**** 0000. A Break in the log could occur if one of the following conditions were present. A. No Directives placed on the log. If a log had no log notes or directives, all scheduled carts/elements will show at midnight. This gives the user the impression the log is there, since a LOG file exists, but Maestro will not see those elements in the log screen during later hours in the scheduled day. B. A lognote or directive is placed on the log at a time greater than the 'next directive: Example: L0048TAKE READINGS D0046LS0300 LOAD :50 BREAK 301. In the example above, the lognote at 0048 would block Maestro from seeing the Directive at 0046, and any other elements with a time less than 0048. If a Directive or Lognote of 2359 were placed on the log in the 1am hour, Maestro would not be able to see any of the log after 1am.
