DA56NT Driver Not Loading (Image Path Error)

Symptom: Cart decks unavailable in Maestro/DA56NT - driver will not start. Example: Customer installs an IDE Drive for Audio storage in addition to a SCSI Boot drive that is already in system. This causes windows to now see the IDE drive as Harddisk0 and the SCSI drive as Harddisk1. When using CCC Legacy DA56 Card sets, the driver registry is handled by default on Harddisk0. Thus, the driver will fail to load based on the default settings, if the boot drive is no longer HardDisk0. Resolution: Confirm that the boot drive is now listed as HardDisk1 under DiskManagement in Windows. Find and edit the NT56.REG file located in C:\Maestro\templates. By default user will see the following two lines in the file that will need to be adjusted: (changing Harddisk0 to the appropriate number..ex: Harddisk1. ImagePath = \Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\winnt\system32\drivers\da56nt.sys Firmware = \Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\winnt\system32\drivers\a56bios.lod. **Note, if the machine has more than one card set they will need to adjust the same sections for DA56NT1 driver, which is also found in this file. Save Changes, right click on NT56.REG file, and choose Open With. Then browse to C:\Maestro\Utils and choose Regini.exe. You must reboot for the changes to take effect. You can confirm after reboot that the driver has successfully loaded by looking under Devices (View Hidden Devices), Non-Plug &Play, DA56NT.
