Commit In Progress & Corrupt Sequence Lists

When a cart is brought up in the Recording Control Window, there is no lock asserted until the recording actually starts - or - you start playback (to set Aux, etc.). So, if a cart is brought up in the Recording Control Window on Unit 1 and left there, someone can bring the same cart up in the RCW of Unit 2 and, say, add 10 cuts and commit. Then, with that same cart up in Unit 1's RCW in its original version, they can add a cut or two and commit the cart. Now, when the cart is brought up in the RCW on Unit 2, a message will pop up that the sequence of the multi-cut cart is corrupt. Click OK. If you try to bring the cart up in Unit 1's RCW you will get a Commit In Progress message that doesn't seem to go away until you restart the Inventory Server on that machine.
