Can not save Maestro Config

Users make changes to the configuration through Mconfig editor. When clicking Ok, a user may get "error writing to file." There are several possible solutions to this problem. The Maestro.cfg is a centralized file that is typically pointed to a path on a server machine or seperate unit/folder. A. Check the centralized config path in the registy (HKeyLocalMachine/Software/CCC/Maestro/3.X) B. Write down the value for Configpathspec (this is where the editor is trying to write the file). C. Make sure you can browse to that directory. If not, see your IT department about rights to that computer. D. Make sure you have the necessary rights to that folder (try copying a text file to the same folder). E. Make sure the path is correct (Example, User chooses to place central config for all Maestros in a folder called Mconfig on ComputerA. The Configpath spec is \\ComputerA\C\Mconfig. In this example the configuration file would not save proper if 'C' on ComputerA wasn't shared. The user would need to Share 'Mconfig' folder, then change Configpathspec to \\ComputerA\Mconfig. Maestro must be closed to make this type of registry change. If you are not comfortable changing the registry you should contact Maestro support.
