BT 16.4 channel status in Maestro Switch#.DMPfiles

Broadcast Tools 16.4 Switcher data in the SWITCHx.DMP file...

When a change to the status of the channels on the Broadcast Tools 16.4 switcher are made, the following type of message is written to the switch#.DMP file in the C:\Maestro folder:

SendSS164Msg - SetMux Command [*0B,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A] (this shows everything off). There are 16 letters that correspond to the 16 channels on the switcher (I'm ignoring the *0B at the moment).

The letter used shows the status of that channel on each row (or Bus). A [0] = off on all 4 buses B [1] = on, Row 1 (Bus A) C [2] = on, Row 2 (Bus B) E [4] = on, Row 3 (Bus C) I [8] = on, Row 4 (Bus D) D = on, Row 1 & 2 H = on, Row 1, 2 & 3 P = on, Row 1, 2, 3 & 4 So, the possible combinations would be: A = All Off B = Row 1 C = Row 2 D = Row 1 & 2 E = Row 3 F = Row 1 & 3 G = Row 2 & 3 H = Row 1, 2 & 3 I = Row 4 J = Row 1 & 4 K = Row 2 & 4 L = Row 1, 2 & 4 M = Row 3 & 4 N = Row 1, 3 & 4 O = Row 2, 3 & 4 P = Row 1, 2, 3 & 4 Here are some examples: [*0B,B,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A]. Row 1 ch 1 on, everything else off [*0B,A,B,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A]. Row 1 ch 2 on, everything else off [*0B,B,C,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,B,A,B,A]. Row 1 ch 1, 13 & 15 on, Row 2 ch 2 on, everything else off [*0B,B,C,E,I,P,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A,A]. Row 1 ch 1 & 5, Row 2 ch 2 & 5, Row 3 ch 3 & 5, Row 4 ch 4 & 5
