Audio drops out occasionally and Device0.DMP file shows a messages: File Service Status Message received. Stream 2 This is a problem with the Buffer Count setting in the DASRV.INI file. Older DA56 Card sets running a mix of compressed and NON-compressed audio, or all uncompressed audio should have a Buffer Count setting of 30. If you are running all compressed, the buffer count should be 8 (again, this is based on the DA56 Card Set). If you were running Audio Science, the buffer count should be 2, regardless of compression, as ASI handles buffering on the cards. To edit the DASRV.INI, the DAServer will need to be closed.
