This problem presents when the mode con lines= number is greater than 25. The issue is with the CWorthy libraries of the DOS DCS systems. Execute the following line at the DOS prompt: mode con lines=25. Add this to a batch file that calls CMED just before the call to CMED.EXE.

If one is using a desktop icon to launch the utilities, set the height and buffer sizes to 25 lines in the properties tab of the .lnk.
