Learn how to utilize the WideOrbit traffic system to access your orders, revenue, A/R, preempts and much more! We will show new AEs how to efficiently enter an order, track and makegood any preempts and show how to easily access overall revenue and aging information.

Managing Credit
and CIA

In addition to examining techniques for establishing credit rating and using the credit status to keep you informed on the activity of clients, we'll look at how to handle special situations such as cash-in-advance and how to shepherd orders for those clients through the system with a minimum amount of additional effort. We will discuss the set-ups that affect credit stops and warnings - including a recent change that can be set so that only changes that affect dollars, trigger a credit warning. We will also review the Agency Credit report, which provides the information available within the Credit Profile area in the report format.

Formats are the backbone of your Logs and so much more… making sure they are entered correctly is very important! There are so many ways to do one thing in WideOrbit… we'll show you the tools and the most efficient ways to enter in Formats and scheduling from Format Templates, Format Groups, to Format Grid.

Accounting Basics in WideOrbit

This introductory class is geared toward clients new to WideOrbit Accounting who have not had the benefit of WideOrbit training or those from other departments who would like to see how what is entered in orders affects billing.  We will give a quick overview covering the basics of invoicing, applying payments, entering credit memos and simple adjustments, and pulling a simple Aging report.  

In this session we will explain:

  • How the order setups affect billing
  • What can be changed after invoicing and what can’t
  • How adjustments affect the Revenue Report and what you can do about it
  • How Account Execs can easily reprint and e-mail their invoices and check their clients’ payments that have come in, with their current security.
