WideOrbit Continues Significant Growth Path in 2007

(San Francisco, CA, October 11, 2007) - WideOrbit Inc. is continuing its path of significant growth in 2007 across all areas within the company including station count, head count, product development and management of advertising revenue.

WideOrbit provides advertising infrastructure that empowers media companies to improve yield management and maximize advertising revenue. WideOrbit’s core software product, WO Traffic, is currently implemented by more than 950 television stations, radio stations, cable networks, movie theaters, mobile, and digital displays.

At this time in 2006, WideOrbit had installed WO Traffic in just over 500 stations and networks. This was double the number of stations and networks compared to the same time in 2005. Now in 2007, WideOrbit has again increased its installation count by nearly 100% having installed in more than 950 stations and networks and having expanded beyond North America into Europe and India.

In order to handle the increase in business, WideOrbit has more than doubled its staff going from 80 employees in January of 2006 to more than 175 by the end of 2007. The largest increases can be seen in the number of implementation specialists, account managers and customer support representatives. WideOrbit is also actively recruiting developers for new product development.

“WideOrbit is a customer centric company. We would rather have more staff on hand than necessary versus not having enough to meet our customer’s needs,” says Eric Mathewson, Founder and CEO of WideOrbit. “We are also focused on hiring talented people who have experience in broadcasting and media to add to the almost 2000 years total broadcasting and media experience our current employees hold.”

WideOrbit software handles more than $10 billion dollars in annual advertising revenue and the company will reinvest more than $20 million dollars this year on product enhancements and development helping enable clients to be even more profitable.

“WideOrbit will continue to focus our efforts on keeping our customers ahead of the curve, responding to their needs, and providing products and services that help our clients grow profitable in the future,” states Eric.
