WideOrbit Station Software Completes Successful Installation at WENY-TV
(San Francisco, CA. and Elmira, NY) April 17, 2001 – WideOrbit, the San Francisco-based company creating the next-generation of media software, today announced the completion of a successful installation of its "WideOrbit Station" software at WENY-TV in Elmira, New York. The company's new product is a comprehensive traffic and sales management system that will be widely available by early Summer 2001.
WideOrbit Station is a Microsoft Windows-based solution designed by former broadcast industry executives to update and replace legacy systems currently in use throughout the industry. WideOrbit Station enables broadcasters to efficiently automate and manage traffic and sales systems and enhance revenue opportunities, resulting in tremendous time and cost savings.
