WideOrbit: BIG in India

Adlabs, a subsidiary of Reliance ADA, one of India’s largest conglomerates and owner of India’s largest private radio station group, was in search of a sales, traffic and billing system for the management of all its BIG 92.7 FM radio stations throughout India.

Adlabs was looking for a system with the ability to monitor revenue and inventory of diverse business opportunities and help in analyzing growth prospects. The system also needed to be dynamic enough to grow as they do, flexible, can be operated from anywhere in and around India, work across all platforms, and cater to all types of media revenue monitoring such as digital, Mobile VAS, Billboards, TV, and broadband which encompass other subsidiaries of Reliance ADA.

Adlabs chose WideOrbit not only because it incorporates all their needs but also because the software is user friendly and has a multifaceted reporting system. “WideOrbit can handle a vast network like Adlabs, which has many relations,” states Ashish Srivastava of Big 92.7 FM.

Installations have already begun and by completion, WideOrbit will be installed in 100+ stations covering 45 cities, 1,000 towns and 50,000 villages throughout India.

Adlabs is finding WideOrbit’s Window’s based system user friendly, the help tips beneficial, and they are already seeing the benefits in their revenue stream. “WideOrbit has definitely met our expectations,” says Ashish.
